Chris Elwood
Senior Solutions Manager
Since completing a degree in Computer Science in 2000 Chris has worked with many companies both locally and in the City. Chris has been our Lead Consultant for nearly 4 years now and has a background in many types of IT environment.
Chris started working life within a multinational ISP connecting everything and anything to the Internet. He has worked within many sectors as an independent consultant from Schools through to e-commerce consultancies. His skills range from PC Networking through to VPN's. He is also the first port of call for all our design based development projects. Chris has a passion for video games and can be found online playing Xbox at any spare moment. He also takes an interest in playing Football for Dormansland Rockets FC in the West Kent League.
James Harland
Solutions Developer
James has been with Comtecs for over 3 years now since joining us on our apprenticeship scheme. James is our PHP guru. Since joining Comtecs James has turned his hand to everything from online shop creation to assisting clients with day-to-day IT support issues.
James is another online gamer in his spare time and enjoys driving his beloved Nissan Micra. He has been a member of the Micra Sports Club for some time and regularly attends shows and meetings.
Jon Webberley
Senior Recruitment Consultant
Jon has been with Comtecs for over 4 years and brings a wealth of Recruitment experience to the team. Jon manages client accounts within both the private and public sector. Having worked in Recruitment for several years Jon has great skills and experience in understanding complex requirements and being able to locate suitable candidates. This combined with excellent client relationship skills means that working with Jon is uncomplicated and effective. Jon represents Tunbridge Wells Squash Squad and plays Football for The Black Horse in the West Kent League.
Tom Blackden
Sales & Marketing Manager
Tom is the founding member of the Comtecs team giving us all a platform to build from. Tom has a great skill in working with both clients and candidates alike to generate good results for all. Having worked in IT recruitment for several years Tom has built up a great rapport with all his clients. He has clients within the Market Research and Insurance sectors in addition to a select few in the Banking and Finance arena.
Tom has been the office dietician for 2 years now suggesting we all eat "Organic". This coupled with an intensive fitness programme has decreased the lunchtime bingeing no end. Tom's real vice is Dance music and he spends far too long buying "select" pieces of music from the Internet. Hardly a day goes by without a piece of vinyl arriving at Comtecs HQ.
